Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We sell a variety of properties, including residential homes and certain types of commercial properties(like small hotels, B&Bs and similar)

We provide extensive information about the location of each property, including nearby health services, parks, and amenities,  and everything else that might influence the comfort of your life to help you make an informed decision. You can always ask us for specific things and information, such as expat centres and activities, multilingual gestors and lawyers, and we will find you the information you need.

In Spain, all legal issues related to property sales are handled by lawyers. It is their task to verify the legality of the property and paperwork, deal with cadastral registration, prepare notary papers and so on. We can find you a multilingual lawyer to handle the transaction. In fact, we recommend you to find a good lawyer to be sure that your investment is problem-free and that you are well-advised about any issues and laws you need to know not only to buy or sell the property but also to manage it in the future.

We would highly recommend you to find a good multilingual gestor to handle your paperwork, especially if you are not fluent in Spanish and unfamiliar with local laws, regulations and peculiarities of living and owning property in Spain. Gestor will handle your mundane paperwork, like residency papers, social security applications and so on. Most of gestors provide rudimentary tax filing services too or work with bookkeeping companies to help you with that too. We can help you to find multilingual gestor in your area.

There are a few components comprising the cost of owning the property in Spain.  Naturally, there is a property tax and local services(like garbage collection, etc.) - these taxes are usually reflected in the property papers and are easy to find. These taxes tend to be relatively small in rural areas but could grow to substantial amounts in coastal, high-income areas. Property insurance costs in Spain are quite compatible with those costs in other European countries, but it is also very easy to obtain insurance offers to verify the costs. The other costs are utilities - water and electricity. It is always possible and even recommended to obtain some previous bills to find the actual costs of these utilities as well as crucial information about the nature of those utilities - such as the amount of electrical power provided as it might not be sufficient for your needs. We will advice you in detail about the crucial information needed to make the right choice for you.
